This convenient and easy-to-use field guide will assist botanists and amateurs in identifying 84 species (including 11 nonnative species) of grasses, sedges and rushes found in Florida's wetlands. Each full-color card includes a photograph, a line drawing, and text to help you identify these species. The cards also contain notes about how wildlife such as ducks, cranes, geese, rabbits and deer utilize various grasses, sedges, and rushes. A unique inflorescence key assists the non-botanist in narrowing the possibilities down to one species.

Each 3"x 4" card is laminated and bound with two rings, allowing for quick and easy identification while in the field. Scientific and common name indexes are included.
